Shakur Jackson is a playwright, director, actor, and founder of Miyoko Studio, LLC, a San Diego-based theater and film production company dedicated to creating stories that inspire and empower communities. Shakur wrote, co-directed, and starred in The Legend of Nathan Harrison, a stage production that brought an important piece of San Diego history to life. He also created the original play Lame City, which he produced, directed, and acted in. The production showcased his commitment to developing original works that explore meaningful themes while engaging and entertaining audiences.
