Shakur Jackson is a playwright, director, actor, and founder of Miyoko Studio, LLC, a San Diego-based theater and film production company dedicated to creating stories that inspire and empower communities. Shakur wrote, co-directed, and starred in The Legend of Nathan Harrison, a stage production that brought an important piece of San Diego history to life. He also created the original play Lame City, which he produced, directed, and acted in.
